If sewing has been sitting on your “one day” list, this is your sign to start.

Our Cushion Session on Saturday 8th February is the perfect beginner-friendly introduction to sewing. You’ll learn essential skills, gain confidence using a sewing machine, and create two beautiful cushions to take home — all in one fun, relaxed session.

Cushions are one of the quickest and easiest ways to learn, which means you’ll see real results fast (and feel pretty proud of yourself too).

Places are limited to 4 , so be sure to secure your spot early.

Whether you’re brand new to sewing or looking to build your skills, Soul Stitches offers relaxed,

small-group classes designed to help you learn with confidence and creativity.

• All sessions are held at Soul Stitches Studio, 3 Blackwood Ave, Mentone.

• With a maximum of 4 students per class, you’ll enjoy plenty of individual guidance in a friendly, supportive environment.

• Projects can be tailored to your interests, and kits are available to make getting started easy.

• Available booking days:

       Mondays, every 2nd Wednesday, every 2nd Friday, and selected Saturdays.

Small Group Project Sessions

Enjoy a relaxed half-day sewing experience and walk away with a beautiful, finished project you’ll be proud of.

What’s included:

• Small group of just 4 students

• A fully completed project to take home

• Labelled pattern and printed instructions to reuse

• Step-by-step guidance throughout the session​ 

• For both the cushion and shoulder bag projects, you’ll learn how to:

• Insert a zip with confidence

• Achieve a professional finish using overlocking or lining

• You’ll also pick up plenty of time-saving tips and techniques to make sewing easier and more enjoyable.

• Sewing machines are provided, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

Time: 10:00am – 2:30pm

Cost: $210 plus inserts

Individual Sewing Sessions

Perfect for beginners, refresher lessons, or tackling a specific project.

Choose from:

• 1 hour — $75

• 1.5 hours — $110

• 2 hours — $140

Many students love booking a block of four sessions to build strong foundations and complete several projects, but you’re welcome to book casually too.

Sessions are completely personalised — from learning how to use your machine to mastering tricky techniques.

“Bring a Friend” Sewing Session

Sewing is even better with company!

2-hour session — $105 per person(Total $210 for two people)

Bring a friend or family member and enjoy a fun, social sewing experience together.

Projects and times are flexible, and kits can be provided.
