SOUL STITCHES - rebooted

Running a business no matter how small or large is a challenge at the best of times. It has been an extraordinary time for so many businesses. Having routines, daily schedules and income disrupted has been difficult but has given many - including me - the opportunity to reassess how to operate moving forward.

Managing Soul Stitches through the lockdown and planning how to operate in the future, while aligning with the “post-Covid crisis norm” has been a real focus for me for the last month. I have toyed with a few different ideas and have decided that as the situation is still unpredictable I will only be booking classes to a limited capacity, as follows:

* Private 1:1 sessions

* Two Friends Sewing sessions -You don’t have to be friends, you could be relatives! 😊

For those who would like to know what I have been up to for the last few months. I did take solace in my new routine - finding new ways of feeling productive as I am someone who needs to feel accomplished daily!!

I will admit that I have spent an inordinate amount of time in leggings justifying that there is no real reason to get “properly” dressed. Most days I pulled workers overalls on and threw my creative energy into house projects. I have completely painted the outside of our weatherboard house and tiled the splash-back area in the laundry and kitchen in subway tiles. I felt accomplished!!! There are more projects on my to-do list and I am looking forward to continuing my “tradie days”.

I have not completed many sewing projects as my beautiful studio space transitioned into a “work from home” space of sorts and is currently going through a transition back to its former glory 😉 I am feeling excited to reacquaint myself with my studio space and dedicate some time persuing some more of my own creative projects as well as planning for the future of Soul Stitches classes.
